Mike Rowe's Lamb Castrating Story

In case you don't know, Mike Rowe hosts a show on the Discovery Channel called "Dirty Jobs". In this show he has been on a diverse group of agricultural operations. In this video, he talks about his experience at ranch in Colorado that runs sheep. He compares what PETA and HSUS told him prior to his visit with what he learned from the rancher and his own observations. This is a great video. It's a little long, but worth your time.

Profound. Do you think most people will get it? I hope. He is right. One word he didn't use was 'honor.' That may have sounded like a cliche. Honor was surely implied. I have always had great respect for anyone who actually works regardless of the job. Mike is my age and it pleases me that he is speaking out on this matter. I hope he reaches a wide audience. Thanks Troy. That was great! I have a new respect for Mike Rowe. Great commentary on the slippery slope we are on as a country.

What a great video! He not only addresses these agriculture issues but the work ethic in this country. Thank you for sharing, he would be great at a Farm Bureau conference!

Needless to say, HSUS doesn't have recommendations for castration of sheep. HSUS doesn't support castration without painkiller. Perhaps Mike was referring to a local humane society.

A great presentation giving a modern day account of what one can really learn about themselves, the world, and proper perspective if they just put themselves in someone elses shoes. Hope it is viewed by many and that everyone who watches it truly listens.
